What You’ll Do

SUPPORT | A manager at CTC is in service and support to their direct reports. As PSoM, you are an extra set of eyes, ears, and hands across all accounts their Paid Social Buyer’s (PSoB) build and buy for. A sounding board for strategy and creativity, offering advice on when and how to scale. Moreover, how to scale effectively and efficiently. This means you are constantly looking for ways to make our PSoB's better. Testing new methods, challenging the status quo, and finding inspiration in building and buying to fuel our PSoB's drive.

TRAIN | There is a general way of doing things and then there is the "CTC way." As the PSoM, we're depending on and trusting you to build up and bring out the knowledge, skills and abilities our team will need to be successful here at CTC. This directly goes back to the PSoM being in service and support of the PSoBs. You cultivate an ecosystem of learning around creative testing, platform challenges, and workflow management. PSoMs train the team to actively be part of the solution to their overall Growth Team's success, ADmission members and Expert Buyer clients.

INNOVATE | The PSoM finds ways of expanding platform tools and features across all paid social networks as the driving force to keep CTC on the cutting edge. Social platforms are constantly evolving. That means that staying on top of updates and understanding root cause effects and chain reactions will become your middle name. Taking that one step further, it is your job to educate your team (and the rest of CTC) on your keen understanding of cutting edge updates.

What Success Looks Like
  • The PSoM supplies the PSoB’s with the tools, training and insight to drive the best results. They are a consistent support to the buyers and come alongside them in the problems they face while at the same time challenging the PSoB’s to think outside the box and break “foam” walls.
  • The PSoM fosters a culture of continuing growth and collaboration. They encourage the sharing of new learnings, tactics, and resources among the PSoBs and proudly celebrate the wins when they occur. The PSoM finds creative ways to keep the PSoB’s engaged and motivated in a remote environment.
  • The PSoM is liaison between the various CTC departments and the Paid Social Buyers. They work with other department heads to implement company-wide strategies or systems. They are also the voice for the PSoB’s as they communicate with executive management on the challenges and opportunities that they see within the PSoB’s ecosystem.
  • The PSoM brings learnings to the entire company and is the leader in paid social strategy. The PSoM is a public voice that not only shares learnings with the company but with other relevant communities helping maintain CTCs position as a thought leader. The PSoM creates easily digestible learnings for people to share with clients and is always on the forefront of new tactics and strategies.
  • The PSoM is always on the lookout to hire talented buyers and ensure that Growth Teams have buyers they need. They also assist in creating a smooth onboarding process for new PSoBs and set clear expectations of what success in the role looks like.

What You’ll Bring to the Table
  • 3 + years experience in digital marketing, required. 2 + years experience in building and buying on platform, preferred.
  • 1 + years experience managing a team of talented, driven, and eager to learn individuals, preferred. Previous Facebook experienced, required (no exceptions).

  • Competence and/or experience in Google Analytics, preferred. Perception and understanding when it comes to navigating human relationships, especially when it comes to building trust and effectiveness across teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and resolve challenges independently through good judgement, deliberation, decisiveness, and ability to provide guidance to others. Must have a unique combination of humility (willing to do the dirty work) and ambition (vision for what your future holds).
  • Skilled in ASANA or relevant project management software, preferred. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks with great attention to detail. Ability to complete short-term and long-term goals in a proper manner.
  • An insatiable curiosity, and an inability to leave a problem alone until you’ve found one or many different potential solutions. A desire to take risks - but only after carefully examining the calculus and determining that your chosen course of action is most effective.
