CTC Is Now an Equity Partner in Commerce Roundtable

Common Thread Collective

Apr. 03 2026

Common Thread Collective is now an owner in Commerce Roundtable.

For those unfamiliar, Commerce Roundtable is one of the best community-driven events in ecommerce. It's not a trade show. It's not a vendor pitch fest. It's a curated room of operators, founders, and senior leaders who are actually building ecommerce brands, having real conversations about what's working right now.

We've been building alongside the ecommerce community for years through our work with 170+ brands, the Ecommerce Playbook podcast, and the content we publish every week. This ownership stake makes that commitment official.

Why Commerce Roundtable?

The ecommerce event landscape has a problem. Most conferences are built for sponsors, not attendees. The sessions are thinly veiled product demos. The networking is speed dating with sales reps. And the people running real brands walk away with a bag of swag and nothing actionable.

Commerce Roundtable was built to fix that. The rooms are small and curated. The attendee mix is deliberately weighted toward brand operators. The content is hands-on and tactical. And the conversations between sessions are often more valuable than the sessions themselves.

That's the kind of event we want to be part of building. Not as a sponsor with a booth, but as an owner with a stake in making the experience better for every brand that walks through the door.

What This Means for the Ecommerce Community

CTC brings deep expertise in ecommerce growth strategy, media, creative, and measurement. We work with brands across every stage, from sub-$1M through $100M+. That perspective shapes everything we do, from the Prophit Engine to the content we create.

With this ownership, we'll be bringing that same perspective into Commerce Roundtable. That means more relevant programming, sharper content, and better connections for the people in the room. The goal is simple: make Commerce Roundtable the most valuable two days an ecommerce operator can spend all year.

Austin Is First

Commerce Roundtable Austin is April 20-21 at Brazos Hall. Two days. 350 curated attendees. 20+ speakers. The room is 50% CEOs and founders, 30% senior leadership, and 20% marketing, CX, and ops experts.

If you're running an ecommerce brand and you want to be in a room with people who understand what you're building, this is it.

Topics on the agenda include:

  • Winning with TikTok Shop and social commerce
  • Applying AI successfully inside your business
  • Meta ads and creative strategy that converts
  • Creative risk, targeting, and measurement in modern advertising
  • Building a custom operating system for predictable growth
  • Scaling brands in today's competitive market

The schedule runs from morning keynotes through afternoon workshops, with a sunset rooftop happy hour to close out day one.

What's Next

Austin is the starting point. Commerce Roundtable also has San Diego coming in September, and we'll be involved in shaping what comes after that.

We're not interested in putting CTC's name on a banner. We're interested in building something the ecommerce community actually needs: a place where operators can learn from each other, pressure-test ideas, and walk away with real next steps.

More details to come. For now, if you're interested in joining us in Austin, reach out. We'll get you a discount code.
