You know when a day starts out totally average, but then something happens that completely flips it?
Today is that day! A package showed up today with some pretty exciting news. Drum roll, please…
Common Thread Collective has earned spot #345 among the Inc. 5000 as one of America’s fastest-growing companies!
For the last three decades, Inc. has recognized the country’s soaring companies, and they continue to place themselves as entrepreneurial juggernauts for years to come. As an honoree, we placed among the best of the best—previous honorees turned household names include Zappos, Under Armour, Intuit, Patagonia, GoPro, Microsoft, and Grubhub, just to name a few. Also, a few of our clients also made the list—shoutout to QALO (#151) and iHeartDogs (#763)!
Needless to say, we’re thrilled by the news and the recognition. Such accolades affirm the work we’ve been doing these last three years, and though they’re certainly not the reason we do what we do, this honor feels pretty damn good.
And now, a word from our partners:
“Making Inc.’s list of fastest-growing companies is a really special honor,” shared Josh Rodarmel. “As a founder of any business, it’s really easy to second-guess decisions you’ve made in the past; so anytime you get external validation that says what you’re doing is working, it helps gives the leadership team the confidence needed to keep making bold decisions that drive growth.”
“It is validating to know that we—as CTC—have been able to scale our business through a model driven by the success of others, and that goes back to our mission of helping entrepreneurs achieve their dreams,” said Iain Harris. “Every day is focused on generating more value for our partners’ brands and lives, and being recognized by Inc. allows for a moment of reflection on that.”
“It has been an absolute blast to watch our business grow, but far more rewarding to watch the growth of the individuals behind our business,” admitted Jordan Palmer. “We are currently winning by choosing to work with great people, investing in culture and generally caring about everyone’s development. It is this mentality, matched with healthy growth, that is incredibly rewarding.”
“We never could’ve made the Inc. 500 list before we surrounded ourselves with such amazing, talented employees at CTC,” said Cory Hamilton. “It’s their award as much as it’s ours.”
“When we started CTC, our dream wasn’t to grow big or grow fast. We always thought we would remain a small team of assassins. But that initial vision was transformed by the big talent and the bigger ambitions of the people who joined along the way,” said Taylor Holiday. “Our growth and presence on the Inc. 500 list is just a reflection of the power of shared dreaming amongst passionate individuals. There is a real network effect to shared dreaming, the more people we add into it, the more powerful it becomes. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this group of people.”
Thank you to our team members, both current and alumni, to our clients, and to every board member, friend, and family member that invested in CTC’s success over the years. We couldn’t have done it without you.
Now, our sights are set on #1!
